  1. RUN
    great Dog Loop 3 mi

It was muddy, damp and grey but lighter this morning. A quick gallop before work as every one has gone and Norman and Pixie will be alone all day while I work.

  2. RUN
    great Dog Loop 3 mi

Was so busy with packing for my boys to go back to school I nearly didn't manage this. Pixie stood next to her collar and yelped...there was no escape:)

  3. RUN
    great Dog Loop 3 mi

Very muddy morning run through low cloud and drizzle. Managed to stay upright and not face plant in the mud but it got close on occassion;)

  4. RUN
    Dog loop 3 mi

Kept putting it off in spite of the best efforts of Norman and Pixie. Eventually got out into drizzle and low cloud to run as it got dark.

  5. RUN
great Blue Dot Route 7.3 mi

Set out to follow the trail to the waterfall but misplaced myself along the way. As I had neglected to take a map I had to blag my way after the blue dots evaporated. It ended well and the waterfal... read more

  6. RUN
great Jeep run and wild boar bog 7.5 mi

A surprising little outing. It has been so long since I have run this route that I had failed to notice the building of a logging road. Found my trail blocked by numerous felled trees which we had ... read more

  7. RUN
    good Dog Loop 3 mi

Bit slow and my hips were stiff this morning. On the plus side it was only 3 miles.

  8. RUN
    great Dog Loop 3 mi

Motivated by the guilt of working all day I dragged the smallest dog from under the duvet and into the icy wind for our morning gallop through the forest. Norman was already outside digging up the ... read more

Gosh Julia that must of been some fall! I'm glad you got home without seeing anyone, although I think you would of gotten more pity than anything. Awesome getting out there in the icy windy dog loop Julia :)

Thanks all:) Actually I whacked the bridge of my nose on a large stick the only object above the surface. AND it took a good ten minutes with an electric toothbrush to get rid of the mud in my teeth!

Yikes! Aside from the mud in your teeth and the whack on your nose, some people PAY to have mud put on their faces.

3 before work. Woke to a small dog licking my nose and insisting it was time:)

  10. FIT
    great More core no hoops!

I am reintroducing the Hot 100's chaps.(120's actually) Day 3. Wall sits...planks and more planks.

  11. RUN
    great CTS 6.07 mi

Worked on form and breathing. Hubby came along on the bike and complained about the cold. Beautiful sunny winter run -2c.

    good More core... 00:40

...and hoops. I see a marginal improvement!

Here you go Pierre. If you google there are also loads of links to download it from dodgy sites. I would suggest that between this and the library very few folk actually pay the full list price.

Thanks, Julia! I wonder if it's going to be worthwhile for me to get that audio book done then. Maybe should do what Stephen King did and restrict it to "PRINT ONLY!" Thanks for the input...

Everything's a bit tight after the enforced break and my abs are gonna smart tomorrow! I have to relearn the hoops thing but got something going eventually!

Hoops! That's going to burn your abs indeed.

Great work, Julia! The hoops are definitely great for the core and for flexibility and teaching you coordination!

  15. RUN
good Broken Hip Hill 5.5 mi

Oh how I love this hill! Tough as it may be in parts it really is my goto run. It is unseasonably warm 10c so the forest was damp, slightly misty and beautifully haunting. Norman and Pixie got lath... read more

  16. RUN
    good Dog Loop 2 mi

Out with N + P before work. Woke late so this is I could fit in the time available. My boys went back to U.K to school yesterday so unshackle the ball and chain and bring on the trails :o)

  17. Just dropping in to let you all know that I am still upright and breathing.

So glad to learn you're coming back... I was thinking about you several times, including yesterday, but figured it was your choice to not be on... sorry to hear about all the grief! Happy Xmas to you as well, and may you continue to heal up!

With Sheila and Hubby on his bike. I had achilles pain from the outset and called out at a point near the car leaving the two of them to continue alone.

  19. RUN

Autumnal spludge in toeshoes through the mud with N and P! To UK tomorrow to collect my boys from school:)

  20. FIT
    good SS Gym 01:00

Usual core and stretch. Saw a sign on the way out asking for pacers for the fitness test failures. Think I might volunteer...I'd never make a Bunny Girl but I can be a Ramstein Rabbit ;o)
