First run to start the new training plan for the Hard Rock Cafe Half in November. I'm using the "Run Less, Run Faster" 16-week plan. I have a two week cushion, which is good because knowing myself, something will come at some point. This plan will be MUCH more intense than my last half plan and I'll be going up to 15 miles in my long runs, which I think will make me more mentally prepared. Let's start this! :-)
3x 3 pull-up w/13 pd assist.
3x 3 dips w/13 pd assist.

Rooting for you Joy!

I really think the premise of the book is really interesting. 3 targeted runs of week and two days low-impact cardio cross-training makes a lot of sense. The runs are really intense!

Nice run Joy. I've noticed two things that have helped my speed. The first is the distance runs and second was adding the leg machines at the gym. You know abduction adduction, leg press and such. Hope you can reach your goal!

Thanks for the advice, Nicole! I've been doing abduction and adduction at the gym and squats and lunges with weights. And I do see a difference!
