      Get there healthy. I started running again today. Gonna be a long fall and winter if you can't walk. Try and do 8ish maybe 9 but I wouldn't do more than that. I wish I could be there, but I didn't feel that great on the treadmill today.

    Barefoot - Favorite run of the year!!!! I love running in the rain and splashing in puddles as I go. Nice cool night with a constant rain where I just felt like I could have kept going on and on.

    Barefoot - Ran the 5k with a friend from work. The kids even did the 1 mile fun run as well. Way to go Hannah, Hillary, and Hollister (walked a dog for most of it according to Erin).

      Isn't it strange? Feet are made for walking and running? Most docs want to sell us on products to "improve" our walking and running when all you need are feet.

      Good choice! Most of my trail miles & ultras are in Merrells "barefoot" line. I wear moccasins in the winter, but you should like these. :)

      Yes, last year the shoes I used we horrible. It took two days to recover before I could run again. I usually just run on a treadmill during the winter for runs under 5 miles and go outside for longer runs.

      I hate the "dreadmill" and haven't run on one for years. I'll see what I can find to run almost "barefoot" in the winter months.
