  8. RUN
alright EC West Slog 6.83 mi 01:15 10:54 pace

Mid day run. Not good timing and the sun burn from canoeing the day before did not help.

  9. RUN
good Decreasing Time Trail Loops 4.3 mi 00:42 09:42 pace

Might have sandbagged it a little on the first loop, but it let me do the full 5 in the workout and the last one hurt. Each loop was .5 miles hilly little bastard. I would post the actual split tim... read more

    Hard Cheese - Red Eye Relay (... 3.21 mi 00:31 09:42 pace

Leg 21, in the sun, it sucked. Best part was when Ben, Amy, and Coby drove the Turbo Turtle beside us up the last hill blasting "The Final Countdown". Straight badass.

  15. RUN
alright Smokin' The Bear - Red Eye Relay 4.37 mi 00:38 08:43 pace

This wasn't easy for me, it was my fifth leg. Katy came back strong and pushed Matt and I to a strong finish. Was most excellent to start in the dark and come out in the sunrise on this leg.

  16. RUN
great Malaria Miller - Red Eye Relay 8.36 mi 01:27 10:25 pace

Felt magical on this run. Led the team and wanted to push. Katy was tough as nails. She obviously felt terrible and still trooped through what is probably the now toughest leg of the Red Eye.
