Great run with the kiddos! I waited until my 8-year-old got home from school to leave. (He got mad the last time I ran just before he got home from school.) It was just under 80 degrees outside - a little warm, but with the breeze it felt pretty nice.

I pushed the pace to make up for yesterday morning's disastrous run. Once again, my kids were real troopers... and my 2-year-old little girl fell asleep in the jogging stroller not five minutes into the run. Everything came together on this run, too; found a rhythm quickly, settled into a nice pace, and climbed the hills with gusto. No complaints.

After I got home, the kids wanted to go to the pool. We chilled (literally) in the pool for a bit and then moved over to the hot tub. I found just the jet in the hot tub to loosen up my legs after the run. It was quite nice.

To end off the night, we went out to eat for dinner; my old nemesis, Panda Express. It has been a long time since we've been there, and I'm happy to report two things: 1.) I didn't clean my plate of food and passed on some extras, and 2.) I may be "over" Panda Express. It didn't really taste all that good, and thinking of all the hard work I've put into weight-loss being negated by a couple of meals there... no thanks. I'll have to run a little longer tomorrow morning and probably hit the bike tomorrow night to not lose my momentum, but it's all good. I'm trying focus on the big picture; A healthier, active lifestyle, not just suffering through a weight-loss challenge.
