      Yes, that came across & I really liked it. I imagine most if not all DMers would empathise with that "just me & my bike" feeling, even if in their case it's "just me & my running shoes".

    I had a cold so it went better than expected! I kept a constant pace (for the most part) even though it was slow and I only felt a slight soreness pain in my left foot. so it went well!

      Never heard of it but since its not an FDA regulated drug beware! Herbals and supplements can and do make wild and misleading claims. Some herbals and supplements have very good research behind them such as fish oil but most have at best inconclusive evidence. Best way to lose weight...a high protein breakfast, don't skip meals and run more!

    I am taking today as a rest day, so I went to the gym to rest my muscles in the hot tub and sauna. I took a few laps in the pool (real easy) to get the blood flowin to my muscles.

      well, I am not doing so well today. I did a bunch of upper body workouts including pushups, squats, crunches and a full half hour of rock climbing....

      well, at least I gave my LEGS a rest day!
