My running buddy, Ryan has one from last year. He knows how bad I want to BQ, so he wears it intentionally around me to taunt me!! I hope I can BQ this year, so I can return the taunt next year!! :D

Go for it Christie. If I could give any advice to a 100 mile ultra runner like you is that you will need to "speed train" to get your mile pace down. You are used to long slow mile of trail. You probably already know this. Good Luck!

I think that's the best advice, John! That's why I chose an early season 100, so I could come off the trails and all the crazy elevation gain and go back to the flat, asphalt and speedwork, trackwork - all the stuff that's been on the back burner in the last year and a half since I ran a marathon. The guys I train with are all Boston boys, so they're helping to push me harder and I've been begging some of my faster gal pals who run the pace I need to help push me too!

you wore it to the grocery store? if i had one i would wear it everywhere, shopping, business mtgs, the beach, to bed, i might need to get two when i qualify since i will wear out the first one

I think you need to wear it Easter Sunday to Church!!!! :D When people ask why you did that, just say you're thanking God that he made you so awesome that you were able to BQ (TWICE)! Total humility right there!
