Sluggish and hot. I'm not finding much fun in running these days. It feels like a new paradigm. What to do next . . .

Judging by your normal runs I can see where this pace might have been slow and suckish for you. I'm sorry you had a miserable run but I have to admit it makes me feel better knowing that even outstanding runners like you have bad ones. Tomorrow's another day and you'll be right back out there doing your usual thing!

Bummer John!! We've definitely all been there before and it's no fun. I'll bet it's the heat....there hasn't been much time to fully acclimate.

Warm evening. Started hurting after 6 miles. Ran in with Steve the Circuit Judge and eighty times marathoner. We are both kind of broken down these days. The company kept me from walking.

I've been feeling something similar off an on of late too, John, then just yesterday I read somewhere that that's the time to ditch the Garmin, throw out the planned runs, and the schedules, and the times, and just go wherever your legs feel like taking you, as fast or a slow as they feel like taking you there, even if that means taking you nowhere on a given day. It sounds like something I may consider come Sunday. 8-)#
