Eight 200 meter sprints on the track was what we were supposed to do but because I hurt my foot yesterday, we scaled it down quite a bit to a slow 2 mile jog around the track. She gave me my first week running schedule. Hopefully, the foot will be better for tomorrow's scheduled run; otherwise, it will be another slow jog. I have almost 14 weeks before the 1/2 so plenty of time to train and be ready. I am excited to get started though!!

Yes I have a coach. I want to be healthy and have all the knowledge I can to run the 1/2. I am very excited to have someone helping me so that I do it the right way this time and not go out there with no training like I did 2 years ago.
