Up and down Sisson Hill. A metaphor for life, what with all the briers reaching out to grab me or bang my head. The rocky, unstable trail - once road, now riverbed. Feeling on top of the world as I fly downhill, until I stumble. Or shuffling uphill, determined, but fighting the urge to stop or slow down.

Life ends with death, but this run ended with a mad sprint down the hill home, because my legs are finally feeling back after Grindstone :)

Great news...I think it took me 5-6 months to really feel like I could compete in a 5k after my 100miler!

I never feel like I could "compete" in the 5k any more, Paul ;)

John, based on your time, you COULD compete in your AG. Anyway, a nice run, amazing recovery given the amount you've been running since Grindstone!

So this run ended with a feeling of new life in your legs. Better than the alternative!
