Great running today John. Even with the cooler weather, I saw a lot of runners cramp up, and many I talked to hit the wall with anywhere from 3 to 8 left. Congrats on getting in under your goal time. The first marathon is all about taking away some learning experiences. Great job!

I did a hard reset and I'm hoping that will take care of the issue its worked in the past and it lasts about 6 month then I have to do it again. It was actually good timing, I'm running my first marathon this weekend and if it quit on me then............well that just wouldn't be good.

Jax is FLAT with a few extra turns in the neighborhoods, but it is a fast course in good weather! I set my HM PR there. My advice is to pass the house giving out mai tais at mile 23.5 and return only AFTER you have finished the race! Good luck and enjoy it!

I will be out there pacing a friend. We ran miles 4-22 of the course two weekends ago. You will do well. Very flat and fast. Good cover other than the first and last 4 miles. Decent weather to start but will be warming up. on the way back in, try to stay to the sides of San Jose Blvd. under the trees. Even on a cool day, the sunlight can overheat you. Looks live you've had some good training. Excited to see what you do.

The good thing is you got in another long run. Marathon training is a lot like a savings account, if you consistently put in the deposits even when they are small, by the end you have something substantial...
