    hot with a nice breeze. The GPS surprised me a little. I have always called this a 10k (6.2 miles) but today it measured 0.3 miles long. I guess that GPS measures long once in a while?

      Tri the mountains: Blue Ridge July 19. It is a sprint and it has a great finish in downtown Blue Ridge.

      my workout is pretty boring:
      50 yds breast stroke warmup
      then I did this four times:
      25 yd breast stroke
      175 yd free style
      with focus on good form more than speed.

      We caught a break there. It was overcast and humid for the first half. We climbed up into the clouds/rain at Fort mtn. After we came back down, the sun came out and things started to heat up. I think it was maybe 78 degrees when we started. It might have warmed up to upper 80's when we were done. I would think 3 gap would be pretty comfortable, temp-wise.
