I had burger & chips for tea last night too and I most certainly could not have run this morning, well done for sticking with it. It was probably the crappy weather we have, I think Friday was summer.

I always find taper runs never feel as good as you expect them too. Good running Joanne... 7 days of taking it easy (well, as much as real life will let you!!) now before race day!

Good run especially in that mist this morning surprised you could see the road, mist looked pretty thick at times. Hope for better weather next weekend.

Don't beat yourself up for this, tomorrow is another day and it will be better. It was so cold through the night and this morning was freezing and windy so ok you will get your interval training done another day this week. Friday looks the best day for this week as far as the weather is concerned at least that is the forecast, though still not warm.

Thanks guys I know I shouldn't really complain about the weather, I live in Scotland and always have done I should be used to it by now. Stick around for 20mins and the weather tends to go into another season and it is common to get all 4 seasons in one day, sometimes even within 1hour :) @James thankfully I've only ever had the flu twice in my life. Running while having a cold just means my nose runs faster than my legs ;)
