great WCC to 451 via ocean 8.18 mi 01:19 09:38 pace

Lovely morning in Maine ... set up a blues playlist, rode with Patti to her work and ran back home via the ocean on a still cloudless 63 to 66 degree morning. Actually ran the first 1.5 miles with another runner visiting from Mass ... then slipped on the ear buds and two of the finest guitarists, Robben Ford & Larry Carlton, started my musical journey with the classic Talk to Your Daughter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05KkwEOM4Y8. Just a nice run - must have said hi to 50 people sitting out on there porches and received some positive comments, chuckles and grins about the "Will Run for Beer" sleeveless shirt. No beer offers though - maybe if I waited to run later in the day.

Last run in these Kinvaras but I got a record setting 316 miles out of them first before the outside of the left shoe blew out. Also back to a 50 mile week again (finally) - which is progress. [Last one was 4 weeks ago ...]

Kind of ironic that you'd post a song like "Talk to Your Daughter" on the same day I posted my thoughts. Nice jam, and a good song to run to. Nice way to get your mileage in after spending a little quality time with Patti. Happy Sunday, Jim!
