    great Grr ... 7.5 mi 01:15 10:00 pace

You don't need no stinkin Garmin! Well.... For today anyway. Garmin a are just finicky in general I believe. After a year my 910XT has decided to become very needy. Sigh. Nice run, Jim!

Sounds like you got excellent value out of your Garmin, and how lucky you are that you have that timex sitting around waiting for you. You can do it, you can learn how to timex. You learned how to elliptogo, you can do anything.

Good call on the lights and the easy. I bet you all get some serious fog on the coast up there. I think it makes everything feel so cozy. Hope you had a good weekend!

Non-running day so I enjoyed a pleasant steady ElliptiGO cruise on Big Orange up to the WildeWood Fire Dept and back on a beautiful sunny 54 degree morning - low humidity and no wind.

    • Karen A.

Wow, even with 25 minutes of warm up you couldn't get there, huh? Part of me wants to say that if you're doing tempo miles by feel, then really you can only gauge your effort level. If your the three you did into the wind in the humidity and etc FELT like you were in the tempo threshold - that uncomfortable sustainable feeling - then I say you were successful, even if your cooldown miles showed faster numbers. But I hear what you're saying related to turnover. Either way, good miles today!

By no means a fail, Jim-- into the wind, I'm sure the tempo effort was there. Maybe it didn't show in the pace, but the training effect was still good.
