      Jim, tough day was an understatement. Nobody should have been running in that weather, let alone running a marathon, as was evident by the bodies laying alongside the route and just after the finish line. I admire your perseverance in finishing in those conditions, not to mention with your physical ailments on top of everything else. We learn something new in every race, no matter how many we do, and we both learned a lot in this one! We'll both come away from this better and stronger!

      Wow, I have been in my own little world and didn't realize this had happened! Well, first, the obvious encouragement - another marathon under your belt and a learning experience with the Gatorade and the kicks. But second, sorry to hear this race took the turn it did.
