      Didn't realize your race was 29 days away. I totally get every single reason you wanted to run 20 today. You got through and if nothing else it should give you a mental boost the rest of this cycle. Hope the foot and other issues settle down. Glad you got through as much as you did before it started bothering you. Well done today. 20 in the bank. :-)

      Awesome! I often struggle with the paces, too (did you see my Sunday run?). Sometimes, you just get excited. I roll with it. Other days will be a struggle.

      I tend to agree with Marcie M.. I think your in better shape than you think.. I have the same problem figuring what my time is as I run these tempo/stride type workouts.. Good workout today and good luck tomorrow at "class"

      Trails are a completely different race. You can't judge them by your road times/accomplishments. You got all 3 and survived to race another day. And for us older folk, nearly falling and not is a win. You finished a tough series and no major ouches. Think of it as hill training.. You could come up to Augusta and run the 5 or 3 mile Tread Fest in Oct.. Congrats on hold strong, and finishing what you started.

      Whoah that sounds like some seriously technical conditions! it takes some time to get the feet ankles accustomed to those kinds of conditions. My garmin always reads short on trails like this too. Great work - heal up that foot! Fun challenge to get the hoodie!
