Out to the trail again tonight watching for all those acorns and slippery leaves, and what to my surprise was a stick that started to move as I was in mid stride. My foot came down on the tail end and I made a quick step to try and avoid any retaliation. Kept the pace in the easy range.

    Whoa, don't think I've ever seen one of those on a run before. Solid run though, heart rate probably spiked a bit at that point.

    Whoa, I haven't seen any snakes up here yet. Plenty when I was trail running while living down in Georgia, though. A sighting like that always spices up a run!
