I'm a 37-year old biology professor. I did my first 5K run in 2010. I also joined a Master's swim team. My first sprint triathlon was in 2011, And my first olympic triathlon was in 2012. I also kayak; ski; watch birds; and do nature photography.

My longest run, to date. Ever. Very happy. It even poured rain during the first half (after I checked the RADAR and saw no rain in the area!). I also saw two adult turkeys with fledglings in tow, and Canada Geese fledglings but nobody cares about geese, so forget about it. :) I'm rambling now. I require food and drink! Wilbur, my personal chef and butler is preparing filet mignon. Oh, that's right, I don't have a personal chef or butler or filet mignon. Pasta, then.
