      Ok, so I have determined that the two HR Zone 2s are not exactly the same, but still, the workout plan wanted me to be in the 130 bpm range and I averaged 145 bpm, even running slow. Maybe as my heart becomes more efficient, it will be slower during my runs.

      It's hard to stay motivated with the holidays the weather and it being so dark all the time. I am gearing up for Jan 1 - give yourself a mental and physical break and don't beat yourself up too much for the next two weeks.

      Hang in there, Jim. To me, these are the times to have a long term vision (you might see things differently in the middle of Y swim season). Lay the foundation now to do great things next summer.
