  1. RUN
    great Peachtree 6.2 mi 01:11 11:23 pace

I don't think it stopped raining once while we were out there, but it was still a great first-time go at Peachtree. I'll be back next year.

  2. RUN
great The Path 3 mi 00:30 09:58 pace

Had to drag myself out the door this morning, but it only took a few steps to remember why I was out there.

  3. RUN
good The Path 3 mi 00:31 10:17 pace

As I get back on the wagon, I am limiting myself to two runs a week and I am spending the other days on the elliptical reading my Kindle. :P So when I go out for a run, I try to make it count. But ... read more

  4. RUN
good The Path 3 mi 00:33 10:52 pace

I absolutely love the way it feels outside at 7 a.m. It's just too bad that it takes 30 minutes and lots of "snoozing" to remember how much I love it. (Had a little trouble getting g... read more

I really meant to run this morning, but all that shoveling dirt yesterday said otherwise. Tomorrow, it's on! Way to go pal!

great End of Watch 5k in Dothan, Ala. 3.1 mi 00:33 10:34 pace

Got to run a 5k with my dad in downtown Dothan. I am pleased with our time, especially considering how hot it was (the race started at 9 a.m.!!!!) and how much of the course was uphill (who knew Do... read more

  7. FIT
    alright Insanity

I've gotten super lazy, so I am trying to shock my body back into running. I realize that probably isn't the greatest approach, but this "easing back into it" thing comes with t... read more

I started doing it two weeks ago. It's flippin hard. I don't do it every day, but go for every other day. I think it's supposed to go in order, six days a week, or so says Mark, but I want to start mixing it up with running now that we're slightly more settled.

It is sooooo hard. I can't get through the workouts without collapsing into a puddle on the floor. But even so, I'm sweating a whole bunch and I'm usually sore afterwards. I guess these are good signs. I'm going to try to do the actual program starting Monday. We'll see how it goes. Mixing it up with running sounds like a good plan to me, though.

  8. RUN
good The Westover Loop 2.99 mi 00:28 09:20 pace

Woo hoo. Guess those squats are paying off! My legs felt strong, and I was rocking each step. Also, it's weird that 39 degrees now seems "warm" to me...

I've been acquiring winter gear as I go. And Mark got me fancy running pants. I thought he was ridiculous at pants ever.
