great Skyline - Granger to Electric Lake & back 6.01 mi 01:15 12:25 pace

This is the last 3 miles of the half marathon course (aprox). So I stashed a water bottle at Electric Lake, drove to the finish, & ran back to Electric Lake. Holy Cow, I thought it would be a slight downhill to the lake with a little incline back. But it's just hill after hill after hill & sometimes when you think you're on a downhill slope, you're actually going up. When I got my stashed water bottle, I couldn't find it! So I got a bit of rest looking for it. LOL.... This last 3 miles will be tough so I'm glad I did this. Last year I ran my 1st 10K at the Skyline 10k & my time was 1:21 with THE "killer" hill the 1st 2 miles. I feel good about this because it's hilly, it's at 8700', & I beat that 10k time by 6 or so minutes. Man, I am beat. Think I'll take a rest day. :)

    Oh how I wish I could run this 10K with you. Maybe one day if we make it back to Utah permanently. Great work today, especially on all those hills.
