      OK--I am going to mother you for one minute...stop trying to push yourself. I don't think there is a whole heck of a lot you could do healthy to drastically impact your upcoming Half since it is so close. But you sure could set yourself back. You race so well anyway. Just chill and recover and get healthy. OK, that is all. Love ya. Mean it. :-)

    This is what I tried to outrun on Sat. I didn't make it. So now I'm on the couch with a severe cold. Running was great, but not in the rain with a cold. Live & learn. Lol

      Love this post. I am sure the "lameness" was a combination of all the factors that you mentioned. Still--you got a solid 5 miles in. Funny now to see you post about the greatness of where you live. 4 or 5 months ago you were ready to pack it up and move out of state. :-)

      Ok.my garmin has been acting up, sometimes, like during races & when I really want the data. So today, I logged this run into my mapmyrun app & it comes up as 4.25 m. I was thinking while running that I would come out a little bit over but my garmin said I'd be short so i did a little extra diddy at the cemetery. & that's my ex .25 m. I also went to the garmin website & mapped it to check it & it was also 4.25. SO I'm changing the distance which will therefore change my pace Great. but frustrating
