Glutes felt tight all day but figured it was just from the 45 minutes in the car to and from work and then not getting to do anything at lunch because of having a candidate in to interview today. Did the 6-100m striders and glutes just weren't loosening up. Tried the first 800 and the right glute/hamstring felt really wonky. Figured it wasn't worth pushing speed. Jogged around the neighborhood while the group did speedwork. Felt fine going slow and really loosened up til they were done. (Found the actual time. This includes the striders and a couple minute break after the first 800 until I decided just to jog around the neighborhood.)


Still a great almost 5!

That is a great run for starting out not quite right. So glad you got your nice ride home, I think you made lemonade when you decided to switch out of the speedwork.
