Bad news from me. I tore my left calf muscle this morning so I am out of action for at least 2 weeks possibly longer! What am I going to do if I can't run! Feeling very sorry for myself at the moment.

    Sorry to hear about your injury Jill. I can fully understand you feeling sorry for yourself. Fingers crossed and positive thoughts that it will only be 2 weeks.

    That sucks :( I have been out for 6 weeks and not running is crappy. Fingers crossed that 2 weeks will be the maximum and if you need someone to whine to I'm your girl.

    Assuming the whole rest and recovery thing sorted in your head. Listen to your body. 2 weeks will not take off much of your physical edge. See it as a rest, reflection and planning phase.

    Oh dear! I have been out for 8 days, not counting my 2 stubborn days in the middle and it sucks. If you need a second person to whinge to, I'm here. Poor Tracy!! 6 weeks is hideous!!

    :( Sorry to hear this!! What are you going to do? Pull yourself up and find other work outs-- you will have arms and a core of steel-- look into that. Tracy has been doing this amazing progam - really impressive! Rest up and hope you are better soon!!!

    I am so sorry to hear this Jill. I've been out for like a month and know what type of emotional roller coaster it can be. As much as it sucks just make sure you take the time to get yourself healed up properly so you can be back to running ASAP.

    Thanks for all your support it really helps and it is time to stop feeling sorry for myself!
    I go back to the physio tomorrow to get an update on the amount of damage I have done, so fingers crossed.
    I will also take your advice and look on the positives, it gives my body a good rest and I can start to strength other areas so that when I am back running I'll be stronger.
