Note to self: do not go running after 8:30am on the boardwalk in the summer where there isn't ANY shade. Life sucking.
Ran the first half, walked the rest... boo
Get my body back! I had my first baby on Thanksgiving and have taken longer than expected to get back in the game. 10 lbs. to go.

Last workout 9 months ago. Help get them back on track!

P90X Yoga - Only got halfway through. Darn naps aren't long enough.
I feel so slow. It makes me sad... mapmyrun.com said this was a 6 mile route. Either way this is a far cry from my 10k PR of 59 minutes. This comeback is going to be work.
You'd think that toting around a 16 lb. baby would strengthen my upper body. Wrong. Sad face. I'm a weakling.
This was a total couch to 6 miler. Not too bad, but I think that I have a phantom baby bump. You know when someone loses a limb it still feels like it's there? That's what I dealt with... read more
First run back since baby. My stamina is shot and I forgot how the cold air burns your lungs. On the up side I have officially started breaking in the Vibrams I got for Christmas. I'm also ... read more
I am so glad that I was nice and honest with myself going into this run today. At this point in the game I am 7 months pregnant and am carrying around an extra 25 lbs up front, which doesn't ... read more
Went out hoping that I could finish 8 miles and ended up running almost 9. Not too shabby. I tried out my VB RNR race plan of running 10 min. walking 2 min. and I think it really helped keep my e... read more
Good job! My sis and are doing a more frequent run/walk ratio. The furthest she's gone is 7.5 miles and I suspect she's not going to go any further than that before the RnR Half.

First "run" in about a month. I never thought that 80-85 degrees would feel cool but compared the heat we've been having it felt fantastic. It was nice to get back on the trail. N... read more
Blue Crush 2 was playing in the Cardio Cinema today... glad I was only planning on a 30 min. workout.
Killed it again whilst watching The Price is Right - the gym is far too overstimulating
I have to admit that I was a Zumba hater after having a bad experience at the YMCA. I have been converted! I don't have any rhythm, but I did have a lot of fun.
I have to say that I killed it on the cross-trainer today.
I don't think that Onelife Fitness believes in air conditioning... so much for hiding from the heat.
New spin instructor -- not my favorite. Left the lights on in the spin room so I was left to look at my baby gut in the mirror in full florescent lighting. Flattering :)
Girl you ROCKED it !!! That is AWESOME !!! Congratulations !

I will comment further on your blog, but you are my hero. I whine about running in the heat, but you ran a Half Marathon in the heat while 7 months pregnant. That, my friend, is quite a feat. Good job! You kick ass.
