  1. Thoughts on 2-a-days for marathon training?

I've personally never done it. However, I've read articles that talk about splitting up easy paced runs into morning and afternoon at least 2 hours but 4 hours apart is even better. Make sure you get some breakfast into you at least 30 min after the am run, but I wouldn't split up the long run. That's why it's called the LONG RUN!

Great job! Personally I'm not a fan of the Colfax race at all, I did the marathon two years ago and I got LOST at mile 24 and had to GPS my way to the finish. It was frustrating. Still though you did amazing!

Becky: I don't think I'll be doing that race again :-( That's terrible for a runner to get lost! I don't feel like the race organizers took the racers much into consideration with their planning. I actually ended up in the wrong corral.... Oh well, we're moving before next years race anyways, so we wont' even be here for it!

Lol I only warm up that fast when I'm running around soldiers during pt hours. I lose all ability to pace myself when there's someone I can pass. That was a very tiring warm up haha
