  1. RUN
    good 5.85 mi 00:56 09:30 pace

Last long-ish run before the race this weekend! Broke it into two parts so Posey could get a beach run in as a reward. Ran lap 5 in 8:54!!

  2. RUN
alright west cliff 7.07 mi 01:09 09:44 pace

Possibly my slowest run ever but am glad I went! Bring on the food! :-)

  3. RUN

    alright 3.85 mi 00:35 09:05 pace

Quick Sunday funday figure 8 around the harbor

  5. RUN

Watch died so not sure how long this took but felt great!

  6. RUN
blah santa cruz, CA 4.19 mi 00:41 09:46 pace

I felt slow and wheezy and my knees felt super wonky and weak. I had high hopes of running for 50 minutes, but that wasn't happening. I walked twice, but just for 30 seconds or less. Sigh.

  7. RUN
good Seabright beach lighthouse ar... 4.39 mi 00:45 10:15 pace

Still getting used to the new stride prescribed by PT. Feels awkward and when I get tired it's so much easier to go into auto-pilot... one run at a time!

  8. VELO
alright Bean Creek, Scotts Valley 18.94 mi 01:29 12.8mph pace

Hated the climbing, loved the downhill. Also getting used to new pedal clips, so going through major SV intersections like Mt Herman road was daunting!
    Max speed: 37.2
    Bike ODO: 51 miles

  9. VELO
    alright 24hr stationary bike 18.5 mi 00:55 20.2mph pace

Severe mental challenge to finish. But I am done with the Ironman challenge now, hooray!!!!!

  16. RUN
    alright 24-hour fitness 3 mi 00:31 10:20 pace

Was feeling some vertigo while trying to watch the game but slogged through a few miles after my bike ride.

  17. VELO
    good 24-hour fitness 18.5 mi 01:05 17.1mph pace

Not thrilled that the bikes didn't have foot straps because I really had to focus on my feet not flying off. But other than that, nice and sweaty ride while watching the Gigantes.

  18. VELO
    good Stationary 18.5 mi 01:05 17.1mph pace

Sweaty mess, felt good. Thought I would have made it "further" but I was doing hills so who knows. Plus this was like the 2nd time in my life on a stationary

  19. RUN
good GG lake loop 7.6 mi 01:05 08:33 pace

Nice, foggy run through GG park with Scott. Feel the need to get in more than 1 run/week, though. Time to sign up for another race!

Started running with Scott - last leg of the Big Kahuna Half-Ironman in Santa Cruz. Figured he could use the motivation/company. Some woman told me I couldn't run with him without a number, so... read more
