alright 24-hour fitness 3 mi 00:31 10:20 pace
Was feeling some vertigo while trying to watch the game but slogged through a few miles after my bike ride.

VELO
good 24-hour fitness 18.5 mi 01:05 17.1mph pace
Not thrilled that the bikes didn't have foot straps because I really had to focus on my feet not flying off. But other than that, nice and sweaty ride while watching the Gigantes.

good Stationary 18.5 mi 01:05 17.1mph pace
Sweaty mess, felt good. Thought I would have made it "further" but I was doing hills so who knows. Plus this was like the 2nd time in my life on a stationary

good GG lake loop 7.6 mi 01:05 08:33 pace
Nice, foggy run through GG park with Scott. Feel the need to get in more than 1 run/week, though. Time to sign up for another race!

great Run along west cliff w/scott 8 mi 01:21 10:07 pace
Started running with Scott - last leg of the Big Kahuna Half-Ironman in Santa Cruz. Figured he could use the motivation/company. Some woman told me I couldn't run with him without a number, so I fe... read more

RUN
good SF to Cliff House and back 10.02 mi 01:27 08:40 pace
Pretty good run, and surprisingly I'm not all that sore. A bit stiff, but good shape overall. Really needed the run given the week's crazed nature at work. Blech.

Little did you know work was about to get crazier (i bet)!

swim
good Michigan swim 1500 yd 00:42 49:16 pace
Planned to stop at 20 laps but decided to go to 30 as I was still feeling good and energized. Really enjoyed myself, for the first time, I think. Maybe I can learn to love this sport after all. ;-)

swim
good Hamilton Pool lap swim 1000 yd 00:30 52:47 pace
Felt strong and in good form. 10 laps, short water break, 10 more laps. Focused on strong legs.

swim
good Simkins Pool swim 1000 yd 00:31 54:33 pace
Did a few laps with just the kick board - think part of my problem is my kick isn't consistent. Seemed to help as after the kicking exercise, I felt I was able to glide through the water better.

RUN
good SF Half Marathon (1st half) 13.2 mi 01:53 08:31 pace
I know a half marathon is 13.1 but according to my GPS-enabled watch (well, Scott's) the course was nearly 13.3 miles! :-) Speaking of the watch, it really helped me push a good pace. I checked it ... read more
