just a great day to be outside. To work, to boys school, then home. Probably not much longer on the tag-a-long for him, but he's just finally adding some power!

I'm doubtful - Nige has only rode for like 30 min stretches so far, so, not sure how he'd deal with 3-6 hours! Also won't Sunday be rainy?

are you only going for a 3:40? might be selling yourself short there, you probably got at least a 3:30 in you judging by some of the workouts you've logged!

thanks Milton! But, I'm afraid of distance - half marathons are even a bit too long... 3:40 is a good goal because its BQ.

IMHO I think now that you've hit your 20 miler you best rest and heal - go easy on the running, cross-train if it doesn't hurt... this may not get you your best time - but at least you will show up to the start line healthy. The alternative might be not showing up at all, or DNFing.

I think Amanda's right. Sounds to me like a good excuse for an early taper and enjoy a bit of extra time on the bike this weekend. One more long run isn't going to make much of a difference to your race result but failing to rest as new injuries come on could set you back for a long time.

Thanks guys, I need to hear this. I am going to skip runs for the next few days at least and re-assess.
