Had a great time practicing yoga with Barbara W. , Lindsay D. and Marsha ! So nice to have friends there! We worked on tons of hip openers which were awesome, but I am really seeing now how out of balance my flexibility is in my legs... hamstrings are SUPER flexible, but Quads are like rocks. Only time and practice will help!

Y'all are too happy with all this yoga stuff. I wonder what else is in the water y'all are drinking?

Great workout Jessica. The yoga will help so much with strength & loosening muscles after the pregnancy!

Great stuff, girl! The yoga makes a difference. Love the hip openers, and I hear you on the quads. My profile pic- my quads are what's keeping me from getting that back leg up higher. Game on! ;)

Thanks everyone!!! I think it's a great complement to running. My legs seem to recover faster after runs for sure! Nora it's good to hear I'm not alone on the quads... other friends of mine don;t seem to have that issue! Have you found any stretches that really help?

Jessica- the best I've found is that pulled bow. I often stand at the kitchen counter and do it when I'm not focusing on the balance. The standing qued has to stay tight to maintain the balance if you let go, but can relax a bit if you have a bar or surface for balance- the "air quad" (as I call it) get's a really good stretch. I've ben doing them 2 or 3 x a day, just whenever I get a minute. ;) My kidsknow now that they're gonna see mom in weird yoga positions at random times. LOL.
