    Woke up early and went to the trail for one last run before heading to the airport to catch my plane leaving NC as a resident for the last time. Will post a picture later.

    Nice hike with BFF Amy. Again, we laughed, cried and talked about all the changes over the last year. It was also a great to work out soreness from yesterday's adventure.

      I am moving tomorrow to just outside of Boulder, CO (Louisville) so that I can live near my sister and her family. I am so excited about this but it is bittersweet as I have lived here in NC for 34 years. Big changes in the past 6 months.

      That's awful! Sounds like you had some heat exhaustion, low electrolytes. Be careful out there Jenny. Try and figure out what it was that you had so you can avoid it next time. (sorry, just say yes mom lol) Wishing you Happy and safe trails girl.

      I second Karin as Dad LOL! You know how bad it can get. That's a nightmare for any trail runner. Illness or injury in a remote spot. Glad to hear you fought through :)

      David, yes I do know how bad it can get as you saw it first hand. I always run with water so I am not sure what happened.
