Sorry wrong part of the UK, crunching sound in the knee - medical opinion required I would suggest. Try a dual approach see the physio and get a 360 opinion physio & GP? Good luck.

Well at least you hava diagnosis and something to work with. Now you need to work on alternatives to preserve those knees.

I work with a lady who had it done and lost over 100 pounds, but has gained it all back over 7 years. She eats fast food daily. You'd think she'd figure out what is causing her obesity. Way to get some exercise in!

You can't hide from life's mistakes when you are fortunate enough to see how the body works such as in a surgical theatre. It's a long time since I was in a theatre but it sticks in the memory. You in nursing?

no Fegrig, I'm an NHS manager. I have only worked in Surgical services and as I am about to move to a new job in Dermatology and Sexual health I figured I should spend one more day in theatre before I left, as I love it, and find Bariatrics one of the most facinating services to work in... they achieve some amazing results, but as Tara said there are always those who have surgery and then end up putting on the weight! although liquidizing MacDonalds will do that!!

I would get bored without Netflix. But the TM is easier for me than outside. Mentally, though, I prefer outside.
