Despite the 89% humidity, I actually felt good this morning! Got myself out of bed, knowing I had no one to meet up with--almost bailed to the treadmill but knew it'd be way easier than hitting a progressive on the roads. Warmed up with 3 (9:12, 9:05, 8:39)--unintentionally progressive. Then hit the real stuff:
8:37, 8:22, 8:19, 8:06, 8:03, 7:47, 7:09 (which was supposed to be HMP...no WAY is that my half pace). First 2 and last 2 miles are super hilly, so I'm excited about the splits. I think I know why it was a happy run...NEW SHOES. mmhmm
