SWEEEEEET! In theory this run was going to work out but the logistics were a little tricky. Met up with Brooke at 4:45am (THANK YOU for driving all the way out here at that ungodly hour!) to try and fit in 18 miles before I had to take my kids to school. We paid no attention to pace, just ran by feel--a comfy pace so we could chat the miles away. Definitely a negative back half and that's when the rolling hills hit! Ran up to my house at 7:40 where we were met by everyone loaded in the car already. HAHA I stopped my Garmin, hopped in the car and we were off. Couldn't have planned that any better. Brooke had another couple to add onto that and I wanted to tag along for them. Aaah well...next time we'll start at 4:30. ;) Tomorrow I'm headed to the Berryman 50 where Luke S. is attempting his first 50-miler. Working an aid station and that guarantees me an automatic spot next year. Can't wait!
