Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but I was on a high all through this run. 39 degrees! Didn't have to wear my jacket, three tops, fleece-lined tights, windproof pants shell, heavy socks, neck warmer, hat, and heavy mittens over thinner gloves like I have the past 2 months. No snow or ice on the trail and sidewalks. Heaven, people! Pure heaven. I think running in all the crap weather made me a little immune to it, so this morning it was like a whole new wonderful world of running opened up to me. My body must have also been really happy because my pace was pretty good in my easy HR zone.
