I just realised I started this run at sea according to the map.... and this registers 5 miles... even weirder... is this what happens after using your Garmin for another sport - ie my cycle run on Tuesday... is it sulking or something??

Apart from the hassle of changing a tyre(!), they are brilliant. My only recommendation is buy a good pump (and when I say good, i mean something over 40 quid). I broke several cheap tesco track pumps, and finally splashed out, and now 120psi is a breeze to get to. Well worth the money :)

If your wanting to sign up for the "Ride the North" you will need to do it soon, their main concern is the first night stop over in Elgin as there is only so much accommodation to be had....look in hotels etc there first incase the rates are extortionate......and yea keep trying on your runs, we all know it does get easier after the initial "this is to hard" thing that happens when trying to get fit again ;-)

I had a look at that RTN thing, but as it looked like it started on a Thursday night/Friday morning, so I wouldn't get time off school. Which is a bummer, because my OH is away that w/end, and it looked great.
