      Uggg, felt bummed because I was averaging a 10 to 10:30 min pace until the pain was unbearable.

    Started off slow with Elaine to get her going... we did 20 rolling hills (out and back from mile 2), then up a steeper grade with switchbacks to be rewarded with downhills towards the picnic area.
