tired First Attempt at a Brick 1.3 mi 00:16 12:09 pace

PAIN!!!! That is really the only word needed to describe what I was feeling when I laced up my running shoes after the bike ride. Within the first 2 minutes I thought someone was punching my calves with all they had and my legs felt like they weighed 300 lbs..... not a fun feeling!!!!!! Was extremely slow and that is A ok with me as I am just happy I did not collapse on the street. :(

    That's why cyclocross is so hard. The transition from cycling to running makes everyone's legs mush. I've never been so exhausted from a 30 minute effort in all my life. Honestly, I'd come home after a cyclocross race and just fall asleep. And I might just try a brick... but perhaps I should just try running first. I haven't really since my accident.
