WHEW! This workout was KILLER! I will break down the workout by miles:
Mile 1: warm-up - easy pace
Mile 2: 5k pace
Mile 3: 1/4 mile easy pace, 3/4 mile 5k pace
Mile 4: 1/2 mile easy pace, 1/2 mile 5k pace
Mile 5: 3/4 mile easy pace, 1/4 mile 5k pace

I would have liked to have added another mile at the end for cool-down but I was running out of time and cut it short. Let me tell you, this workout kicked my butt. My legs were TIRED and burning by that last quarter mile sprint. But, I enjoyed seeing some speed again.
