Good work, Jennifer! Smart idea to listen to your body & recharge the batteries. I'll trade you for the 75-85°F weather we've been having here in DC. :) That doesn't really feel like early May weather either. ;)

      Nice Job:

Great job, Jen! You're being very smart about acclimating your legs/feet to your new VFFs. :-D Your body is obviously rewarding you for your sensible plan of action. :)

Congrats! I worked the last water stop before the finish line. I was the one with the cowbell :) That was almost as much fun as doing a race itself.

Who ordered the pea soup? Yup, it's major humidity time again. The wind was super high today too. Between fighting the wind and humidity it was a tough run but still squeaked it out.

Great fun Jen! My dog, Annie, has a great concept of pace - if there is something to chase the 16' leash is way out in front. If we're out for a run it's all the way out behind me, after the 1st .5 mile =)
