Goal #1 today was to finish. Goal #2 was to beat last year's time. Goal #3 was to have PR. I was feeling pretty confident in beating goals #1 and 2. The third one was a long shot. Official time was 2:02:38, but I'm going with the time I had on my watch as I had to make a stop at the port-a-pottie. My knee did a fairly good job of holding up for me. Legs were really tired by mile 10, probably due in part to not really doing a long run last weekend. Pushed myself through the last 3 miles. My knees held out for the race, but are now punishing me for putting them through it. Whether I use my time, or the official race time I was able to meet goals #1 and 2. Goal # 3 will have to come another day. Now to take at least a week off, maybe two, to let me knees have a break. They deserve it.
