      good ride....now the fun of trying to keep the pup from running and jumping....fun times. LOL my dog was not allowed to run or jump for 2 weeks after her spay...that was a nightmare

      I'm actually doing it at home. It's the Turbo Jam workout series (from the people who make p90x. But this is a cardio program -- kickboxing, capoeira, dancing, ab workouts, etc.)

  5. Is there a device that you can enter data into and it will measure calories burned while you're just working out? (i.e. kickboxing, aerobics, etc.)

      there is, its called the bodybugg. its what they use on the biggest loser show, but they are expensive. i think like 160 bucks but you also are required to pay a monthly fee to use it . since it tracks stuff and does data online.

      If you have an iPhone you can get a ANT+ dongle for it and get a Garmin hear rate band as mentioned before along with some free software ... you will have everything you need to track your runs or cycling on the cheap.

      Good job!! I've never heard of turbo jam, but it sounds fun. I love doing boxing and kickboxing for cardio. I'm not a fan of the dancing aerobics though. Lol

      TJ is from the same people who make P90x and Insanity. It's been fun learning some kickboxing moves.. and there are a couple of capoeria (sp?) moves in there as well which is really cool. Watching the guys in the video doing the dancing moves is a little funny though.. lol

      Try riding after 6 pm or super early be fore work like at 5 am. Many of my friends ride at 5 am at least once per week. Not me, I'm busy sleeping! Lol

      I hope you have a hydration system with cold water.
