Took this run really easy and it was windy out there tonight. I wanted to focus on my form and my shoulder posture. I've been noticing shoulder/neck issues lately. Probably my other life to blame and not running, but I need to really focus on my running posture so it doesn't hurt and suck while running. Lot's of hills on this run, so just stayed relaxed. Ran the last mile faster and I think it was a 8:30 or something. No ITB pain! Yippppeeee!

    Good to hear on the ITB! I have had chronic neck and shoulder pain for years now and they flare up during running. Try keeping your chin level and focus 20 to 30 feet ahead. It helps relieve the tension and soreness. Love the Newtons, although I train mostly in Brooks. You should give it a try, though, especially with your focus on running form. Great run!
