Run w/ Meghan

The dog was looking all pitiful, so I decided to take her with me. It was a good thing, since this was to be a slower paced run anyway. Gorgeous day out there after a week of rain and clouds. Let her off leash for the last .25 uphill and we raced to the front door- Fun! 8:53, 8:53, 8:58, 8:19 (last .10)

your dog's name is Meghan? That is awesome. I love it when dogs have decidedly non-doggish names. Nice 5k.

Well done. Our dog's name is Emma, lol. She was our 1st kid, so got a kid name hahahaha.

@Shannon, I wanted Molly, but my husband chose Meghan. And yes, she was our "first born", got her @ 9 weeks old, so she got a human name, tee hee

Nice consistent splits, which is an accomplishment when a dog is pulling you along at his jerky side-to-sode pace.

I love human names for animals! Our dog is Eddie :-) He would love to run with me....but he is just too crazy! He leaps at cars while he's on the leash. I tried to run with him once but it was a disaster. He's a crazy little Sheltie :-)

Sounds like a happy dog run! (Our first dog was Ned, but she was a girl. She was a german shepherd/lab mix, so she could pull that name off. Being a teacher kind of uses up a lot of names for me, but i've never had a Ned as a student. )
