Got to the gym, and realized I didn't pack my Brooks in the bag :( Had to run in an old pair of Asics that I happened to be wearing, which have at least 500 mi on them. So, what was supposed to be a 45 min tempo turned into 2 mi because I didn't want to take any chances with old shoes. Splits: 8:38, 8:00. Ran 3x400: 8:00, 7:49, 7:41 pace, and then 3x200: 7:34, 7:27, 7:21. Finished the run @7:04 for .20 mi. Ran an 8:49 recovery in between each interval. I'm fairly certain the guy on the mill next to me got hit with flying sweat, oooops.
