Which PT exercise do you dread most? For me it is the calf-extension. I never know if I should knock it off first and get it over with or wait until I have reduced all my other muscles to equal jelly-like uselessness. Then my gimp calf just doesn't seem as bad... relatively :)

@David, funny you mention calves...mine are so SO tight. I have to stretch them a lot, and then use the seated calf machine for strength training. Tight calves coupled with a weak tight back...and you've got a recipe for chronic ITB issues. I'm getting there, though :-)

Jen... If you don't have one I would recommend the tiger tail self massage stick. It is like a rolling pin with hard foam roller. It is awsome for tight muscles.

I'll have to check that out...my husband is having calf issues at the moment as well and was looking for something to buy that worked well.
