good South Glastonbury 20.01 mi 03:23 10:07 pace

Struggled a bit around mile 13-16 but finished strong with the last mile at 9:08 pace. Hip and hamstring sore, left knee almost numb.

  2. RUN
good Three Mile Road 5.37 mi 00:51 09:27 pace

Only needed capris and a long sleeve tee shirt - first time in months! Worked fairly hard for a not so impressive pace but I find it much harder to run after work. Happy to get the miles in.

  5. RUN
good Around town 7.6 mi 01:12 09:30 pace

Quick Saturday run before Whole Foods, trying to complete 100 miles for March. Snow and sleet in the last couple of miles but felt really good except for left knee.

  6. RUN
tired Brittany Road 5.01 mi 00:54 10:48 pace

Legs still tired from the marathon, some walking and then slow running. Cold, dark morning.

  7. RUN
blah Savin Rock Marathon 26.2 mi 04:33 10:24 pace

Snowed through 18 miles, roads were slushy and hilly. First half at 2:05 but fell apart the second half looking for a bathroom and battling cramps from mile 18 on. Not mentally prepared for this ra... read more

  8. RUN
alright JB Williams Park 6 mi 00:58 09:39 pace

So tired this morning and the temperature is back down in the single digits. Right hip was sore by mile two.

  9. RUN
    alright Rotary/Hills 6.21 mi 01:04 10:14 pace

Parts of the run were good, parts not so good. I never really hit my rhythm on this run and had to walk at the top of a couple of the hills. Chilly and sprinkling but it is starting to feel like sp... read more

  10. RUN
    great Ferry 10.38 mi 01:41 09:46 pace

Amazing what a difference a day makes. Tired by the end of the run but the sun and warmer weather made me feel like I was flying even though pace wasn't fast.

  11. RUN
    blah Piattis/Hebron Avenue 10.07 mi 01:42 10:06 pace

Over tired, stressed out and right hip hurting. Temperature in the mid 30s but strong cold wind. Not happy with pace and felt very sluggish.

  12. RUN
    good Buttonball 6.77 mi 01:07 09:49 pace

Right hip a little better. 24 degrees felt so much warmer! Very icy, walking over the slippery spots.

  13. RUN
    good Town/JB Williams 10.54 mi 01:41 09:32 pace

Felt pretty good but right hip still painful.

  14. RUN
tired Around Town 9 mi 01:31 10:08 pace

Zero degrees felt much warmer than last week's minus 4. Very tired and had to push to finish

  15. RUN
    alright Coldbrook 6.22 mi 00:58 09:23 pace

Another run in the cold early morning to relieve stress. Right hip slightly better - no pain until mile 3.

  16. RUN
blah Three Mile Road 6.15 mi 00:58 09:25 pace

Not happy that my right hip was sore at one mile - I need to run! Mentally in a very bad place.

  17. RUN
    alright Town 14.01 mi 02:15 09:36 pace

Getting my crazy on! -4 degrees at the start, warming to 3 degrees by the end of the run.

  18. RUN
alright Three Mile Road 6.03 mi 01:00 09:56 pace

Cold but not frigid, ice under snow made for slow going but glad to get out of the house

  19. RUN
good Myrtle Beach Marathon 26.2 mi 04:01 09:12 pace

Mentally not ready for this race. Garmin failed at mile 5 but used RunKeeper for approximate pace. Nearly even splits - 2:00:15 and 2:01:00. Stomach cramps at mile 19.

  20. RUN
good Mount Vernon Trail, DC 6 mi 00:54 09:00 pace

Not appropriately dressed for 40 degree weather with a stiff wind but it was great to run without snow on the ground
