  1. RUN
good Founders Hill 6.14 mi 01:15 12:12 pace

Piriformis still sore but we took it easy today, running hills and walking in between.

  2. RUN
    alright Town 6.01 mi 01:05 10:48 pace

Ouch! Piriformis very sore and the quick pace at the beginning was tough.

  3. RUN
    alright Speedwork 5.32 mi 01:08 12:44 pace

Mostly walking but ran one mile at 8:35, 800 m at 3:54 and 400m at 1:51. Felt my piriformis pop on the last lap. Frustrating.

  4. RUN
    injured Ferry 9.85 mi 02:00 12:10 pace

Really felt my piriformis on the rough roads

  5. RUN
injured Founders Hill 6.22 mi 01:16 12:11 pace

Hip still very sore and stiff, ran up the hills but walked a good portion of the flat parts

  6. RUN
    tired Town 6.07 mi 01:02 10:09 pace

Feel okay considering last weekend's marathon but it was an effort to keep up with the group. Wonderful sunrise over the park at the end made it all worth it.

  7. RUN
good Montreal Marathon 26.53 mi 04:10 09:25 pace

Pushed hard and just missed a PR on the first half (1:58:30 vs 1:58:05). Right hip, leg and foot started hurting midway and quite painful by mile 20. On track for a BQ but the last three miles did ... read more

  8. RUN
alright Founders Hill 6.03 mi 01:11 11:46 pace

Last run before the Montreal marathon. Hip feels ok, glute still sore. Took it very easy this morning.

  9. RUN
    great Town 5.01 mi 00:53 10:36 pace

Felt surprisingly good with minimal sleep again. Perfect running weather.

  10. RUN
    tired Track 5.2 mi 01:10 13:27 pace

With only three hours of sleep, the run consisted of half mile walks alternating with half mile tempo runs. Glad I got out but very sore from last night's fall.

  11. RUN
good DMV to Ferry 12 mi 02:20 11:39 pace

Ran at a 9:30 pace for most of the run but hip was very sore from the rough terrain and I walked the last couple of miles. Very misty, quiet morning with the usual wonderful deep conversations.

  12. RUN
good Founders Hill 6.26 mi 01:15 11:58 pace

Humidity still didn't break so we didn't push the pace this morning.

  13. RUN
    good Town 6.04 mi 01:00 09:56 pace

Very humid and except for one short stop we ran the entire distance. Without the stop, pace was closer to 9:30

  14. RUN
    great Coldbrook 8 mi 01:17 09:35 pace

Making up for lost training last week. Hip/IT band still a little sore. Met up with a new runner for the last couple of miles so I didn't run the woods by myself.

  15. RUN
good West Hartford Reservoir 13 mi 02:25 11:09 pace

Cool weather, good company but still coughing a lot. Last three miles or so by myself at sub 9:30 pace.

  16. RUN
alright Founders Hill 6.06 mi 01:15 12:22 pace

Wow - coughed and gasped for breath all the way through this run. Probably should have sat this one out.

  17. RUN
    good Town 6.06 mi 01:07 11:02 pace

A little tired probably because asthma made it difficult to get in enough oxygen. Decent pace, walk breaks need to be shorter but we get telling stories...

  18. RUN
    alright Speedwork 5.12 mi 01:00 11:40 pace

Super tired, so a not-so-speedy day. 2x400, 4x200, 4x300. Stayed under 2:00 for the 400 meter, but couldn't break 50 seconds on the 200 meter today.

  19. RUN
    good Hopewell 4 mi 00:38 09:30 pace

Felt surprisingly good after Saturday's long run

  20. RUN
good East Hartford out to Heather ... 17.56 mi 03:35 12:12 pace

Ran three miles solo at 9:45 pace then joined HMF for a couple of miles but ended up running most of it with a very good friend. Gorgeous day, good conversation, decent pace for a long run, post-ru... read more
