  1. RUN
    great Town 6.03 mi 01:10 11:36 pace

Brisk run on a cold morning with a couple of walk breaks near the end. Felt good to be outside.

  2. RUN
    good Speedwork 5.6 mi 01:00 10:42 pace

Garmin fail yet again. Based on fellow runner's watch, 2x800 at 3:50 pace. Not too shabby for the first training session for Surf City.

  3. RUN
    great Stancliff-Leigh Gate 9 mi 01:44 11:33 pace

Fun run, easy pace. Love Saturday group runs.

  4. RUN
    great Founders 6.31 mi 01:37 15:23 pace

Another day of mostly walking but the break is helping heal my piriformis. Just two of us this morning but as always the time was filled with good conversation and laughter. The view from the Overl... read more

  5. RUN
    alright Town 6 mi 01:20 13:20 pace

I wasn't the only one who was tired so we spent most of the time walking. Cold morning and my joints really felt it.

  6. RUN
great Rocky Hill Ferry 11 mi 02:05 11:21 pace

One of the best runs in a long time. A very fast quick six miles from the ferry to the cove with Susan's large group, pictures and seagull chasing at the cove then a lovely slow run/walk with ... read more

  7. RUN
great Founders Hills 6.21 mi 01:15 12:04 pace

Felt much stronger today although still winded. Piriformis/Sciatica just gave a twinge while sprinting near the end.

That annoying piri pain - ugh! Nice run, and glad you're feeling stronger!

  8. RUN
    great Town 7 mi 01:15 10:42 pace

Almost no hip pain. Ran the first couple of miles at 9:00 pace, took a long walk break in the middle, finished up fast.

  9. RUN
    great Town 9 mi 01:47 11:53 pace

Very slow morning, some short bursts of speed but just overall enjoying the day and the company.

  10. RUN
blah Founders Hills 6.23 mi 01:31 14:36 pace

Ran every hill but walked all the miles in between. Struggled with breathing and mentally overwhelmed.

Hang in there, my friend. Been out of touch - would love to chat when you get some brain space. :-)

  11. RUN
    good Town 5.5 mi 00:58 10:32 pace

Time estimated - ran the first five miles fairly quickly but strolled through the last half mile.

  12. RUN
    tired Speedwork 6 mi 01:09 11:30 pace

Not so speedy but as always I am glad that I got out of bed to run.

Some days, that's the biggest accomplishment. It was for me this morning, too!

  13. RUN
great South Glastonbury Hills 9.21 mi 01:58 12:48 pace

Wonderful crisp morning run with my best friend. Stopped to enjoy the foliage and lots of laughs.

  14. RUN
good Founders Hill 5.71 mi 01:02 10:54 pace

Got lucky - there was a two hour break in the downpours and the weather was a balmy 66 degrees at the start. Made it up all the hills except a small portion of Overlook. Piriformis sore but much be... read more

  15. RUN
    good Town 5.48 mi 00:58 10:37 pace

Pace was mostly 9:00-9:30 except for a break at the boathouse. I really was feeling it by the end - weakness in the right hip. Got in a good long stretch at the end which seemed to help.

  16. RUN
    good Speedwork 5.01 mi 01:03 12:38 pace

Colder than I thought it would be. Walked and slow pace the fist couple mile then alternated 800m sprints with walking. Sprint pace 7:45-8:00 - not the fastest but a good effort.

  17. RUN
    good Gbury/EH/Manchester Hillstown 11.63 mi 02:05 10:44 pace

Really didn't feel like going out this morning but so glad that I did. Lots of excitement - fire trucks, two tag sales, found a dollar, took another fall. Leg still tight but definitely better.

  18. RUN
tired Founders Hill 5.82 mi 01:10 12:01 pace

Hills - 1, Jen - 0. Too much going on and not enough energy to concentrate on running but I want to keep in the habit of getting out on the road. The running mojo will return at some point.

  19. RUN
    great Town 5.02 mi 00:51 10:13 pace

Good, brisk run with a nice long walk afterwards.

  20. RUN
good Farmington Trail 18.25 mi 03:13 10:33 pace

Absolutely spectacular morning. First 16 miles at 10:05 pace then right leg pain forced me into a run/walk at a 13:30 pace. Glad to be outside!
