    In maine visiting my family. Snowy and 29 degrees - not what I'm used to these days but it actually felt great out there. The falling snow was very pretty along the ocean.

    Haven't been so good with tracking my workouts this week but I stuck to my schedule pretty well. Nice to get a longer run in today! Last Saturday was not the same without it.

      I get up every morning at 4:15 to fit it in before work! Granted I am also asleep by 9 every night so that helps! Way to go Jen, keep it up!

      EVERYONE I talked to had a tough time on mile 8. Wasn't that where the hills started? I know I was having trouble at mile 8 as well. Great start to the year Jen. I know you will just improve for each race. What's your next 1/2?

      I think that was where the hills started Chris! It was around that point when a guy next to me said "It's all downhill after 9.8 miles", and I kind of laughed because I didn't realize there would be any uphills. My next half is going to be the new Phoenix Half Marathon on March 3rd - all downhill!
