Patty....I posted an awesome video on my Fb page - it is about Pistol squats and how improve on them. I practice by holding on to something with one hand to improve my balance and I go as deep as I can while keeping my balance. I am seeing improvements!! I am going to start using my TRX to help as well....

Afternoon walk plus a fast but amazing evening run. Felt great.
New totals as of 3/12...
Miles - 20.66/50
Pull ups - 9/50...unassisted
Push ups - 320/1,000
Burpees - 85/500
Walk in the trails today...so very nice and relaxing!
6.2 kms on the tread along with KB work using 8, 12 and 16 kg KB's along with pushups - 50 reps
Run/Walk along the coast. Simply stunning and so relaxing.
Insanity fit test. The results....I am totally out of shape. Sitting on the couch with ice packs for my knee. How is it that I have let myself get so off track....

Thanks all. Knees are somewhat better this morning but I feel as if I really need to go back and see the doctor....it is just getting worse. Ugh....

Jen, I don't know you personally but I do know how you feel. I ran my last marathon in December (Las Vegas... one I do not recommend). I took maybe a little too much time off, especially regarding cross training and I feel so out of shape now. I think it happens to everyone at some point, you just got to dig yourself out and take it one day at a time. My runs are feeling easier now thank God! The good part is I believe it's easier to get back into it after a break than it was to start!
