A little over 6. Still struggling. The cough has come back. I hate being sick.

Jimmie, you are on fire with your comments and I keep "like"ing them. :) Yes, Jeff, sick does suck. Feel better. Way to get out there and slug it out in the meantime.

I threw up on my hat sunday. I was running down the Mt. in a cold sweat. It hit me so hard I bent over and my hat fell off and I filled it up. Darn I liked that hat.

Oh Jimmie, I know that isn't funny, but you really are such a good storyteller. A friend recently recounted a "throwing up in a hat" story about a friend, but he confessed it was not entirely true. I'm very sorry yours is true and for the loss of your hat. Jeff, I think Jimmie may be trying to advise you not to wear a favorite hat on your runs for now.

    Slow. Very slow.

  3. RUN
    3 mi

Pace and time seems irrelevant today. I just went. It's been over a week. Hopefully I'll get over this stuff soon.

  4. RUN
    4.04 mi 00:36 08:55 pace

Ran the opposite way that the Air Force guys ran.. Just because. I am SO glad I'm not mandated to workout.

  5. RUN
    10.14 mi 01:39 09:48 pace

Wow. I have quite a few workouts to import. My New Year resolution was not to work out. Guess I broke that one.

Forgot my rain gear so settled for the TM this time. Still if I would have had the RG I wouldn't have had to waste time traveling to the gym.

Haha, somehow I sense you're as much as a hater as I am. But the 'mill is an exception to non-hate rules.

More rain and snow today. I was drenched by the time I finished. I just had to reaffirm my hatred of the TM.

Braved the elements. Wasn't terribly bad until the second half. Wind and driving hail/snow/sleet. No more TM for me.

Hmmm...this sounds better, Jeff. I mean, "not terribly bad" is...not terribly bad. You sound motivated. -- another good sign. I like this. :) Are you not posting in L&O dailies anymore?

I am but it's more because of the no electronics rule for the twins than anything else. I'm beginning to think the motivation was the dread of getting back on the TM.

If TM dread is what it takes, then that's a good thing, being the bad thing that a TM is and all... Go you, being such a good example for the twins. :-)

I'm sorry you're still not feeling it, Jeff, but very good to see you back at it. :) I'm having running-related "feeling it" issues of my own, and I am convinced it will pass. I am sure it will for you too!
