  1. RUN
    good 3.63 mi 00:37 10:15 pace

I can tell the days are getting longer. Instead of running my route with only streetlights I was greeted by a beautiful sunrise this morning. It's gonna be a good day. :-)

  2. RUN
round the 'hood 3.91 mi 00:43 10:54 pace

Figured I needed to get out this morning to burn off the wonderful fish tacos and margaritas from Fuzzy's Tacos last night. Yeah...totally worth it. :-)

  3. RUN
good Run thru the hood... 3.88 mi 00:44 11:17 pace

Really didn't want to get out but we are being blessed with cool weather right now and I hated to waste it.

  4. RUN
    alright 3.35 mi 00:41 12:18 pace

Never felt 'in the groove' this morning. I've never been fast but today seemed more sluggish than normal. I didn't eat very well last night (damn you 5 Guys!) so maybe that was the problem. Hopeful... read more

  5. RUN
good Twice around the hood 3.63 mi 00:37 10:18 pace

As much as I am NOT a morning person the temp around here is getting warm enough that afternoon runs aren't as comfortable. Guess I'm gonna learn to love the mornings.

  6. RUN
good Twice around the 'hood 3.15 mi 00:35 11:07 pace

Glad I forced my butt out of bed this morning. Had a good run and even ran into a neighbor out riding his unicycle. Not something you come across too often. Wish I had that kind of balance. I'm doi... read more

I can honestly say i've never run across anybody just out for a ride on their unicycle. I'd most likely burst out in a fit of laughter and continue on, mostly cause there's no way i'd ever be on one.

Cory, I did do a bit of a double-take. First to convince myself it was a unicycle (it was 5am so judgement was a bit clouded) and secondly that I actually knew the guy. We've been neighbors for nearly 10 years and I had no idea he had one. Gotta make it to more neighborhood picnics...

Lots of people enjoying the nice weather today. So happy I could be one of them. :-)

  8. RUN
good Early morning run (late entry) 3.6 mi 00:40 11:14 pace

Today was my first go at hitting the streets at 5am. But, since my daughter wants to run with me in the evenings, I decided I needed to throw in some morning runs to keep my mileage up. Gotta tip m... read more

  9. RUN
Running with my daughter 2.02 mi 00:27 13:32 pace

My daughter (10) asked me if she could start running with me so we could do a 5K together. How could I refuse. We didn't go far...we didn't go fast...but it was great!!!

  10. RUN
    3.89 mi 00:43 11:06 pace

Crazy work schedule the past few days so this my first chance to run in a few days. I tried setting my alarm to run early in the morning but so far that hasn't worked out so well.

  11. RUN
good Oak Creek 'hood 4.44 mi 00:51 11:22 pace

    Nice run around the park.

  12. RUN
good Arbor Hills NP 4.54 mi 00:51 11:17 pace

Nice run, but last nights storms left a lot of mud and water on the trail. It was still fun though. I don't think I've purposely splashed through that many puddles since I was 8. :-)

  13. RUN
great Dash Down Greenville 5K 3.11 mi 00:35 11:23 pace

Great weather, lots of people in crazy costumes, and free beer! Plus, we raised over $60K for the North Texas Food Bank. All in all, not a bad way to start the day.

  14. RUN
blah Oak Creek 'hood 3.2 mi 00:35 11:03 pace

I read somewhere that you should try and learn something new every day. What did I learn today? Never take a client out to a mexican restaurant and then try and get in a quick run afterward. I comp... read more

We really need the rain here so as much as I dislike the treadmill, I'm not gonna gripe too much.

I know! We need the rain and I prayed for the drought to end, so now I hate to complain. Nice TM run, AGAIN! Ha, ha!

  17. RUN
good Arbor Hills NP 4.19 mi 00:52 12:20 pace

Great weather today so I had to get outside for a bit. Got my fun stuff out of the way, now to tackle a couple more 'honey do's' before the weekend is over.

  18. RUN
great Walking the dogs 2 mi 00:37 18:30 pace

I wasn't going to log this one since it was a fairly short walk with the dogs then I remembered I signed up for a March challenge and I'd kick myself if I wound up 2 miles short at the end of the m... read more
