Bonita Lakes trails, Meridian, ms 8 mi

This originally started out as an 11 miler, but I underestimated several things. First, it was WICKED cold, and although I dressed for it, I never got really warm. Second, I'm having some groin pain that I brushed off, but that really bothered me during the entire effort. Third, the hills. Oh, my, the hills. So, I cut it short & will get my 11 miler in Tues or Wednesday of next week. Beautiful hike, I did a lot of it on wooded trails, and it was really nice.

    I am having trouble in that area also. I don't know why! I running....not even fast....and boom, pain.

    I've never had this particular issue, so not sure how to proceed. Have a tiger balm patch on the inside of my thigh & a couple of tylenol in me. We'll see what transpires.

    I am better today. Groin pain is gone, having some shin splint pain - I guess from the mountain climbing ;). But, much better today.
